The Song Contest

In an effort to get feedback on my upcoming CD's winning tracks. I'm asking you...that's right you heard me, you to pick the best two rock oriented tracks and the best two adult contemporary tracks. "So what's in it for me Jeff". I'm glad you asked. The first 20 people to take the contest and give us their feedback from January 20, 2002-March 21, 2002 will receive a copy of Lehman's Terms. Out of that group, one lucky person will win the "Royalty Contest", to be held at another date. With this contest we will enter the names of the 20 winners into a hat. We will pick one winner. That person will be made a beneficiary of the winning rock song and the winning adult contemporary song. The winner will be made a beneficiary of  5% of all mechanical royalties for the life of each song. If the song becomes a hit, that could be a potential jackpot. Here's the rub, Since I plan on creating an on-line email database of radio stations across the US, Australia and Canada on this site, if you're the winner, you can help navigate the song to success. You will be able to visit this site and make email requests to these radio stations. The more the songs get played, the more potential earnings. Please be advised that since radio station air play is sampled on a random basis, there is no guarantee of earnings. However, the more you request, or get your friends and relatives, even enemies to request the songs, the better your chances get.

Directions

Follow the instructions below to take the contest.

1.) Listen to the mp3 sound samples below of each of the Lehman's Terms songs. All you need to do is to click on a song. Your computer's sound player should make contact to the server and the song will begin playing. Each sample is about 30 seconds to 2 minutes long. Contact time to the server is kind of hard to judge. I've seen it take about roughly 30 seconds to 1 minute, before the song will play after clicking on the title. On rare occasions it may take longer or will begin immediately after the click.

2.) After you have listened to all of the song samples, make a note of the best two rock oriented songs and the best two adult contemporary songs. Your top pick in each category will be your number one pick.

3.) Once you've made your picks, please email me with the following verbiage in your email, "My number one pick for the best rock song is (name of song). My number two pick for the best rock song is (name of song). My number one pick for the best adult contemporary song is (name of song). My number two pick for the best adult contemporary song is (name of song)."

Please remember to include your: name, address, city, state, zip code, country (if outside the US), and phone number.

You can email me at: jjleh@aol.com

4.) Sit back, relax and wait for the results. The winners will be contacted by email on March 22, 2002.

If you need instructions on downloading a player, (most computers purchased from 1999-now will have some form of an audio player built in. However, if yours doesn't fall into that category, or you're still in need of a player, visit my here.
