JEFF LEHMAN

Inspired by early R&B, soul, classic rock, Brill Building pop, and jazz legends of the '60s and '70s, Jeff grew up swooning along with his radio. He developed his intimate, high tenor, soulful, passionate vocal style, fluid keyboard chops, and writing ability from the soul of this era. Along the way he taught himself harmonica, guitar and drums.

Throughout his illustrious career Jeff has taught music, computers, Microsoft, Business, and many other things. He currently keeps an active schedule of teaching, producing, and performing live; either solo, with dueling pianos, City Lights, or Sony Music Recording Artists, "Looking Glass featuring Elliot Lurie," The group known for the #1, 1972 hit, "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)," where Jeff acts in a role as a second generation member and music director for the band.

Jeff received airplay in 1997-1998 for his ballad, DON'T LOOK BACK, off his debut release which gained airplay in eastern Canada. He trumped that feat with an estimated 200+ plays in Switzerland during 2003-2004 for EVERYTHING MUST CHANGE off his Lehman's Terms CD; his most successful release to date.

Along the way Jeff earned a Masters Degree in Business, in 1997 from Central Michigan University. He is currently slated to begin classes both towards two certificates: teaching and  music production in September 2014. He expects to have earned both certificates by 2017.

As a sideman Jeff has performed with JIM GOLD & GALLERY, ELLIOT LURIE (LOOKING GLASS), JOEY MOLLAND (BADFINGER), CUB KODA (BROWNSVILLE STATION), OTIS DAY (OTIS DAY AND THE NIGHTS), SONNY GERACI AND THE OUTSIDERS, CLIMAX, and most recently MARK LINDSAY (PAUL REVERE AND THE RAIDERS), where he performed at a 60th birthday party for Suzy Buffett, daughter of Warren Buffett. Warren attended the heavy security laden event  dressed as Elvis. Hillary Clinton and many other notable celebrities were also in attendance.

On November 5, 2013 Jeff released a downloadable single called, "Built From Soul," in which he performed a duet with CONTOURS lead singer, CHARLES DAVIS.
