THE JEFF LEHMAN GROUP

Formed in 2003 The Jeff Lehman Group is a fabulously talented group of top notch Detroit musicians.  The accomplishments of the individual members as well as the group itself is stunning. Jeff Lehman, has had extensive airplay in Canada, Switzerland and the US as recent as 2003. Jim Wirth and Roger Noonan have had airplay for projects. Craig Williams and Gary Penz are sought after for studio and live performance. Together they are a force to be reckoned with.

The group was formed with a multiple purpose. Initially the group was put together to be the backup group for original Looking Glass singer Elliot Lurie; who with Looking Glass gave the world the #1, 1972 smash, "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)" They would tour as Elliot Lurie and Looking Glass. When not touring with Elliot, the group would retain its own identity.

 This identity would be in any of the following areas

 The group tours in a variety of configurations from four pieces to nine pieces if a performer requires the horn section and additional players. Although the horn players and additional musicians may vary the primary principles of the group are:

The group is stylistically well rounded drawing heavily on rock, jazz and soul influences. Souring harmonies and exceptionally tight playing will grace a typical performance.
